I finally shot 'Youth Unplugged' at PSBB in Nungambakkam and the kids there were a riot of energy. Towards the end it descended into a shouting match, and, I was forced to grab the microphones out of their hands. But all in all, a high-energy affair full of passion.

Anyway, just wanted to tell all the anonymous nobodys out there that you can't comment on my space anymore. Reveal thyself and you can pass.

..I hope they don't slot it in one of those lunch time news specials. We'll never get to see this then.
'Kids Unplugged' is a better name, if more series on school kids follow from other cities too...?

Brilliant, a comment on a blog about a news programme on censorship getting censored.

I wonder if that was the comment's intent? Although that might be too much credit to some of the inhabitants of the 'net.

Any NDTV programmes on the RTI amendment? It seems to be a big issue with NGO's and took up a lot of editorial space on the Hindu at least.

Hi Uday,

Im not sure when they're slotting it. But it will probably be evening... around 5, when kids are home from school. We'll also be doing it with college students... so maybe 'kids unplugged' is a bit limiting.

Yeah Geek - I had to censor that comment, because it sounded like some anonymous loser trying to get attention. I dont want such characters on my blog.

We did do quite a few stories on the RTI amendment. We had Aruna Roy, one of the chief architects of the Act denounce it and I did a story out of the camp here and there was a fair bit done from Delhi as well.

yeah, i watch the school kids's debate in ndtv...sometimes it is no diff from that of so-called discussions of grown-ups...i think we all become adults quite early.

"monsiuer, i disagree with your....blah blah...but i will defend your right to...blah, blah, blah!!!"

Just pulling ur leg okay:-) Will spread the word abt psbb program. TC.

Rajesh - Censorship should be used as a shield not a sword. So your understanding of my understanding of freedom of speech is misplaced.
